Elder Gallery of Contemporary Art is thrilled to present Disrupting the Matrix: Impressions, a community-driven companion exhibition to Disrupting the Matrix, which will highlight works in printmaking by recent graduates of the University of North Carolina Charlotte.

Disrupting the Matrix: Impressions features six alumni exploring the topics of mental health, emotions, self examination, lived experience, and existentialism.

Featuring: Callie Brewer, Abe Ekren, Asia Hanon, Laura Lucas, Tiara Tiana, and Nikki Thrower

 Impressions is a community-centric, invitational exhibition series dedicated to the artistic voices of recent graduates of regional colleges and universities. Through the Impressions program, Elder Gallery of Contemporary Art aims to provide young and emerging artists with valuable hands-on access to professional art world practices, gallerist mentorship, and CV-building exhibition opportunities.
