Life on Fire presents internationally-recognized ceramicist Peter Callas’ works within his distinctive oeuvre of Anagama kiln-fired ceramics, an ancient pottery technique originating in China. The fervor with which Callas creates, honoring both traditional craft and design innovation, has earned his rightful place as one of the world’s foremost pioneers in ceramics. Callas has exhibited extensively over the past half century, and his works can be found in private and museum collections across the world.
