LARRY HOROWITZ: LANDSCAPE WITHOUT BORDERS
MAY 31, 2018 - AUG. 11, 2018
A prolific painter who apprenticed under American master Wolf Kahn, Larry Horowitz creates bold, engaging works that pulse with energy and beauty and reflect his own colorful personality. Horowitz creates vivid worlds of color with lush brushstrokes and strong layering, and in this exhibition, Horowitz literally breaks down borders through both his subject matter and his choice of canvas. This solo show features paintings on amusing antiques and found objects, coupled with a collection of unique contemporary landscapes in both abstract and realistic representation. Opening reception with the artist May 31, 2018, 6 – 8p.
